Students & Alumni

The NBA (Neuroscience in Bordeaux Association) is a student association created in November 2012 by and for the Neuroscience students of the University of Bordeaux:

Its main goals are: to welcome new Neuroscience students in Bordeaux and facilitate their student life so that they quickly get fully involved in their work; to create a network of Alumni that can help each other, promote the Master of Neuroscience in Bordeaux and support members all over the world, in particular once they are looking for their first job.
Importantly the NBA is also a key player in the quality assurance of the Master program: it advises the Board of Education, provides feedback on teaching, helps in surveying how students get jobs once they have graduated and contributes constantly to monitor what can be done to improve the program.
Last but not least, the NBA takes a very active part in increasing public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. In France and all over the world, members of the NBA (past and current, French of foreign students) act as true ambassadors of the Bordeaux Neuroscience community and, more generally, of the city of Bordeaux and Aquitaine.
